You will be seeing a lot of this in the next month; basically my ranting and raving about SXSW. On top of getting to see friends out there and every single cool person in the Lbk venturing out there, there's a chance (if all goes my way) that I maaay see Broken Bells, She & Him, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Dr. Dog and so so so much more including the local Thrift Store Cowboys who not only always put on a great show but are extremely fun people in general. I'm basically just getting through the next couple of dreary assignments and snowy days to get there.

The Llano Idea- where I did a brief yet enjoyable stint as a radio DJ playing my favorite music. This was basically born out of the demise of KTXT 88.1 our student radio station out here. While I knew a good number of the kids active on it I never had the opportunity to participate myself before it was shut down. Being an avid listener and thorough appreciator of having some fashion of radio I could bear listening to, I was heartbroken when it went off the air. I could go on for days about this. The Llano Idea was started by the kids who were active on KTXT and because of this I met some fabulous people and so it definitely counts as a favorite thing.
